Become a production worker

​

Do you want to help produce cough drops and traditional hard candies for the pharmacy market and other candy lovers – and would you enjoy an active workday that keeps you moving?

​

We are currently looking for an energetic and physically strong production worker to handle the cooking of candies in close collaboration with our skilled head candy maker.

​

About us

​

We are not a traditional candy store open to tourists. We are exclusively a production company which primarily covers cough drops – including supplying the entire Norwegian pharmacy market. We also make classic sugar candies, but cough drops are our niche.

​

You will become part of a small, family-owned company where we work as a team and where the atmosphere is informal and friendly. We value good humor, reliability, and a strong curiosity and willingness to learn. Your workday will include everything from preparing raw materials and monitoring machines, to handling hot candy masses and cleaning equipment.

​

You will, of course, receive thorough training so you feel confident working with candy masses, machines, and procedures. This position involves many regular routines – but also offers opportunities to grow into other departments as you become familiar with our processes.

• Preparing raw materials for production

• Operating production machinery

• Quality control of products

• Handling hot candy masses

• Performing daily cleaning of production areas and equipment

• Packing and preparing goods for shipment when needed

• Other ad hoc tasks in production

Your profile

 

• Handy and ready for physically demanding work

• Good dexterity, as the work involves both machine operation and manual production

• Technically minded with a good eye for different types of production machinery

• Proactive and not afraid to take initiative – both independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Motivated to work in a small, dedicated team of five employees, each responsible for their own department

• Reliable and contributing positively to the team’s good mood

Experience from the food industry or other production environments is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Monday–Thursday: 8:00–16:00
Friday: 8:00–15:30
